Chez Nous 2
"The views are stunning and the two eagles soaring up and down the valley are a nice touch..."

20 miles inland from Beziers and the Mediterranean, our wood-cladded
house is situated on a hillside with beautiful panoramic views over the local
countryside. There is a spacious open plan living area (approx 30' x 20')
leading out onto a main terrace for lounging and eating - in the sun or shade.
The lower walled terrace has an 'in ground' salt water pool (7.33m x 4m) for
your own use, and a sunbathing area.
On most days you will probably want to sit
and eat out on the terrace. In the colder winter evenings you can sit round the big
open fire place. The bedrooms have electric heating.

The house is on the edge of the tranquil
medieval hamlet of Soumartre in the Herault commune of Faugères, famous for its wine. From the door guided trails lead you up into the Haut Languedoc Regional Park, including a circular walk to Faugères's 16th century windmills. In October the heady scent of pressed
grapes wafts up from the village. The busy little town of Bedarieux is
only a couple of miles away in the beautiful Orb Valley. And rising behind
are the gorges, forests and mountain plateaux of the Haut Languedoc.
